Neighborhood Development Plan 2009 – 2019_old

A Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) is a community-led planning document that sets out a shared vision for how our parish should grow and develop over the coming years. It allows local residents to shape planning policies on matters such as housing, green spaces, design standards, local facilities and infrastructure. Once prepared, independently examined and supported through a local referendum, the NDP becomes part of the statutory development plan and must be considered when planning applications are determined. It ensures that future development reflects the priorities and character of our community, rather than being imposed without local input.
